These interrupts can be treated as a chained interrupt controller as suggested earlier by Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>. This patch adds support for interrupts in a way that should be pretty generic, and works for the omaps that support wake-up interrupts. On omaps, there's an interrupt enable and interrupt status bit for each pin. The two pinctrl domains on omaps share a single interrupt from the PRM chained interrupt handler. Support for other similar hardware should be easy to add. Note that this patch does not attempt to handle the wake-up interrupts automatically unlike the earlier patches. This patch allows the device drivers to do a request_irq() on the wake-up pins as needed. I'll try to do also a separate generic patch for handling the wake-up events automatically. Also note that as this patch makes the pinctrl-single an irq controller, the current bindings need some extra trickery to use interrupts from two different interrupt controllers for the same driver. So it might be worth waiting a little on the patches enabling the wake-up interrupts from drivers as there should be a generic way to handle it coming. And also there's been discussion of interrupts-extended binding for using interrupts from multiple interrupt controllers. In any case, this patch should be ready to go allowing handling the wake-up interrupts in a generic way, or separately from the device drivers. The node is missing a few properties for configuration like "multipoint", "dyn_fifo", "num_eps" or "ram_bits". However I am not sure "missing" is the right word here because some of those informations might be obtained from the chip itself but it is not done (yet). Further the ePARP 2.3.1 says the matching goes from left to right taking the fist match. Right now there is jus a driver for "stericsson,db8500-musb" and none for "mentor, musb". I'm not 100% that it is simply possible to have a generic since even for DMA we have ifdefs in the driver between "generic mentor dma" and "ux500 dma" and I mean within musb and not the dma code. For that reason (that I am not sure a generic musb binding is possible and how its binding / required properties will look like) and the reason that we have here a minor binding without a driver to look at I suggest to remove that binding. If the majority of people prefer to keep this binding I'm curious how the documentation of the binding should look like. Next up for them is more work on consolidation instead of introduction of new non-multiplatform SoCs, we're all looking forward to that! - Misc cleanups for older Samsung platforms, some Allwinner updates, etc" * tag 'soc-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (159 commits) ARM: bcm281xx: Add ARCH_BCM_MOBILE to bcm config ARM: bcm_defconfig: Run "make savedefconfig" ARM: bcm281xx: Add ARCH Timers to config rename ARCH_BCM to ARCH_BCM_MOBILE (mach-bcm) ARM: vexpress: Enable platform-specific options in defconfig ARM: vexpress: Make defconfig work again ARM: sunxi: remove .init_time hooks ARM: imx: enable suspend for imx6sl ARM: imx: ensure dsm_request signal is not asserted when setting LPM ARM: imx6q: call WB and RBC configuration from imx6q_pm_enter() ARM: imx6q: move low-power code out of clock driver ARM: imx: drop extern with function prototypes in common.h ARM: imx: reset core along with enable/disable operation ARM: imx: do not return from imx_cpu_die() call ARM: imx_v6_v7_defconfig: Select CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING ARM: imx_v6_v7_defconfig: Enable LEDS_GPIO related options ARM: mxs_defconfig: Turn off CONFIG_DEBUG_GPIO ARM: imx: replace imx6q_restart() with mxc_restart() ARM: mach-imx: mm-imx5: Retrieve iomuxc base address from dt ARM: mach-imx: mm-imx5: Retrieve tzic base address from dt ...

So this patch add touch screen support for at91 adc iio driver. To enable touch screen support in adc, you need to add the dt parameters: 1. which type of touch are used? (4 or 5 wires), sample period time. 2. correct pressure detect threshold value. In the meantime, since touch screen will use a interal period trigger of adc, so it is conflict to other hardware triggers. Driver will disable the hardware trigger support if touch screen is enabled. This driver has been tested in AT91SAM9X5-EK and SAMA5D3x-EK. New Core Elements 1) New INT_TIME info_mask element for integration time, which may have different effects on measurement noise and similar, than an amplifier and hence is different from existing SCALE. Already existed in some drivers as a custom attribute. 2) Introduce a iio_push_buffers_with_timestamp helper to cover the common case of filling the last 64 bits of data to be passed to the buffer with a timestamp. Applied to lots of drivers. Cuts down on repeated code and moves a slightly fiddly bit of logic into a single location. 3) Introduce info_mask_[shared_by_dir/shared_by_all] elements to allow support of elements such as sampling_frequency which is typically shared by all input channels on a device. This reduces code and makes these controls available from in kernel consumers of IIO devices. New drivers 1) MCP3422/3/4 ADC 2) TSL4531 ambient light sensor 3) TCS3472/5 color light sensor 4) GP2AP020A00F ambient light / proximity sensor 5) LPS001WP support added to ST pressure sensor driver. New driver functionality 1) ti_am335x_adc Add buffered sampling support. This device has a hardware fifo that is fed directly into an IIO kfifo buffer based on a watershed interrupt. Note this will act as an example of how to handle this increasingly common type of device. The only previous example - sca3000 - take a less than optimal approach which is largely why it is still in staging. A couple of little cleanups for that new functionality followed later. Core cleanups: 1) MAINTAINERS - Sachin actually brought my email address up to date because I said I'd do it and never got around to it :) 2) Assign buffer list elements as single element lists to simplify the iio_buffer_is_active logic. 3) wake_up_interruptible_poll instead of wake_up_interruptible to only wake up threads waiting for poll notifications. 4) Add O_CLOEXEC flag to anon_inode_get_fd call for IIO event interface. 5) Change iio_push_to_buffers to take a void * pointer so as to avoid some annoying and unnecessary type casts. 6) iio_compute_scan_bytes incorrectly took a long rather than unsigned long. 7) Various minor tidy ups. Driver cleanups (in no particular order) 1) Another set of devm_ allocations patches from Sachin Kamat. 2) tsl2x7x - 0 to NULL cleanup. 3) hmc5843 - fix missing > in MODULE_AUTHOR 4) Set of strict_strto* to kstrto* conversions. 5) mxs-lradc - fix ordering of resource removal to match creation 6) mxs-lradc - add MODULE_ALIAS 7) adc7606 - drop a work pending test duplicated in core functions. 8) hmc5843 - devm_ allocation patch 9) Series of redundant breaks removed. 10) ad2s1200 - pr_err -> dev_err 11) adjd_s311 - use INT_TIME 12) ST sensors - large set of cleanups from Lee Jones and removed restriction to using only triggers provided by the st_sensors themselves from Dennis Ciocca. 13) dummy and tmp006 provide sampling_frequency via info_mask_shared_by_all. 14) tcs3472 - fix incorrect buffer size and wrong device pointer used in suspend / resume functions. 15) max1363 - use defaults for buffer setup ops as provided by the triggered buffer helpers as they are the same as were specified in max1363 driver. 16) Trivial tidy ups in a number of other drivers.

| * | | | | | | ARM: sunxi: Initial support for Allwinner's Security ID fusesOliver Schinagl2013-09-26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Allwinner has electric fuses (efuse) on their line of chips. This driver reads those fuses, seeds the kernel entropy and exports them as a sysfs node. These fuses are most likely to be programmed at the factory, encoding things like Chip ID, some sort of serial number, etc. and appear to be reasonably unique. While in theory, these should be writeable by the user, it will probably be inconvenient to do so. Allwinner recommends that a certain input pin, labeled 'efuse_vddq', be connected to GND. To write these fuses however, a 2.5 V programming voltage needs to be applied to this pin. Even so, they can still be used to generate a board-unique mac from, board unique RSA key and seed the kernel RNG. On sun7i additional storage is available, this is initially used for an UEFI BOOT key, Secure JTAG key, HDMI-HDCP key and vendor specific keys. Currently supported are the following known chips: Allwinner sun4i (A10) Allwinner sun5i (A10s, A13) Allwinner sun7i (A20) Signed-off-by: Oliver Schinagl <oliver@schinagl.nl> Acked-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

MUSB should now work out of the box on AM335x-based boards (beagle bone white and black) with DMA thanks to Sebastian's work. We can now enable VERBOSE_DEBUG on builds of drivers/usb/gadget/ by selecting CONFIG_USB_GADGET_VERBOSE. s3c-hsotg got quite a few non-critical fixes but also learned a few new tricks (isochronous transfers, multi count support). The Marvel USB3 Controller driver got a memory leak fix. devm_usb_get_phy() learned not to return NULL, ever. Other than these patches, we have the usual set of cleanups ranging from removal of unnecessary *_set_drvdata() to using SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS. Signed-of-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>

Instead, manage the RESET gpio line directly in the driver. Update the device tree binding information. This also makes us easy to migrate to a dedicated GPIO RESET controller whenever it becomes available. Signed-off-by: Roger Quadros <rogerq@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>

There is still no consensus on the bindings for the reserved memory and various drawbacks of the proposed solution has been shown, so the best now is to revert it completely and start again from scratch later.
