* [PATCH] NMI: Update NMI users of RCU to use new APIPaul E. McKenney2005-09-07
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Uses of RCU for dynamically changeable NMI handlers need to use the new rcu_dereference() and rcu_assign_pointer() facilities. This change makes it clear that these uses are safe from a memory-barrier viewpoint, but the main purpose is to document exactly what operations are being protected by RCU. This has been tested on x86 and x86-64, which are the only architectures affected by this change. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
