It replaces dma_res with dma_channel in struct mxs_mmc_host, so that

The register HW_SSP_VERSION is broken for ssp version detection,
as the address of the register is different between imx23 and imx28.
Let's use platform_device_id to detect the device, so that the use
of cpu_is_xxx can be removed.

It removes the use of cpu_is_xxx from gpio-mxs driver and instead use
platform_device_id to identify the device. Accordingly, mxs platform
code is changed to register gpio device with different names, and
the registeration are done in soc specific initialization functions
now, so postcore_initcall(mxs_add_mxs_gpio) gets removed.

According to the device's datasheet, it can support an interrupt too.
However, the existing board file doesn't specify an interrupt, and I
don't have the schematics, so I can't add an interrupts property. The
current Linux driver doesn't support anyway.

The I2C2 controller can be routed to either pingroup DDC or PTA. Seaboard
actually uses this as an I2C bus mux, and devices are connected to both
pingroups. This change statically assigns the I2C2 controller to pingroup
PTA, so that on-board devices can be accessed. The DDC pingroup is used
for EDID/DDC accesses which are not yet required, given the absence of
any Tegra graphics support. I2C muxing will be supported later.

want that because such devices (having a special register layout) have been
found in mach-mxs and mach-mx6 meanwhile.
Since there is no subsystem maintainer for lib/ and the use case is

MX23/28 use IP cores which follow a register layout I have first seen on
STMP3xxx SoCs. In this layout, every register actually has four u32:
1.) to store a value directly
2.) a SET register where every 1-bit sets the corresponding bit,
others are unaffected
3.) same with a CLR register
4.) same with a TOG (toggle) register
Also, the 2 MSBs in register 0 are always the same and can be used to reset
the IP core.
All this is strictly speaking not mach-specific (but IP core specific) and,
thus, doesn't need to be in mach-mxs/include. At least mx6 also uses IP cores
following this stmp-style. So:
Introduce a stmp-style device, put the code and defines for that in a public
place (lib/), and let drivers for stmp-style devices select that code.
To avoid regressions and ease reviewing, the actual code is simply copied from
mach-mxs. It definately wants updates, but those need a seperate patch series.
Voila, mach dependency gone, reusable code introduced. Note that I didn't
remove the duplicated code from mach-mxs yet, first the drivers have to be
converted.

The clk_set_rate() code shouldn't check the clock's enable count when
validating CLK_SET_RATE_GATE flag since the enable count could change after
the validation. Similar to clk_set_parent(), it should instead check the
prepare count. The prepare count should go to zero only when the end user
expects the clock to not be enabled in the future. Since the code already
grabs the prepare count before validation, it's not possible for prepare
count to change after validation and by association not possible for a well
behaving end user to enable the clock while the set rate is in progress.

While there's no actual implementation behind it having the call to use
in drivers makes them feel neater from a driver author point of view. An
actual implementation can wait for someone who needs to use the function
in a real system.

Add a varient of the basic clk-gate code. This variant calls a
function before gating the clock off. This function is used to disable
the SATA or PCIe PHY.
Now that all the drivers prepare and enable there clk as needed, there
is no need for the common code to keep track of which clocks need
gating on. Let the common clock framework turn off clocks which are
not used.
Buy using the added clk varient, when the clk framework turns off SATA
or PCIe clocks, we also disabled SATA and PCIe PHYs which were not
needed.
The function kirkwood_pcie_id() can now be called outside of __init
code, so remove this property for it, and functions it calls.

The Orion kirkwood chips have a gatable clock per SATA channel. Add
code to get and enable this clk if it exists.
