* wext: Emit event stream entries correctly when compat.David S. Miller2008-06-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Three major portions to this change: 1) Add IW_EV_COMPAT_LCP_LEN, IW_EV_COMPAT_POINT_OFF, and IW_EV_COMPAT_POINT_LEN helper defines. 2) Delete iw_stream_check_add_*(), they are unused. 3) Add iw_request_info argument to iwe_stream_add_*(), and use it to size the event and pointer lengths correctly depending upon whether IW_REQUEST_FLAG_COMPAT is set or not. 4) The mechanical transformations to the drivers and wireless stack bits to get the iw_request_info passed down into the routines modified in #3. Also, explicit references to IW_EV_LCP_LEN are replaced with iwe_stream_lcp_len(info). With a lot of help and bug fixes from Masakazu Mokuno. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* PS3: gelic: Deprecate the private ioctls in the gelic driverMasakazu Mokuno2008-06-03
| | | | | | | | As the driver has the standard way to handle PSK, deprecate the old interface. Signed-off-by: Masakazu Mokuno <mokuno@sm.sony.co.jp> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* PS3: gelic: Use the new PMK interface in the gelic driverMasakazu Mokuno2008-06-03
| | | | | | | | | With the new WEXT flags, the PS3 wireless driver can tell the user space that it would do handle 4-way handshake by itself and needs the PSK without private ioctls. Signed-off-by: Masakazu Mokuno <mokuno@sm.sony.co.jp> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

| * PS3: gelic: fix the oops on the broken IE returned from the hypervisorMasakazu Mokuno2008-04-15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes the bug that the driver would try to over-scan the memory if the sum of the length field of every IEs does not match the length returned from the hypervisor. * | PS3: gelic: Add support for separate cipher selectionMasakazu Mokuno2008-03-25
|/ | | | | | | | From version 2.20 of the PS3 system software, the hypervisor allows the guest OSes to specify separate cipher for group and pairwise. Signed-off-by: Masakazu Mokuno <mokuno@sm.sony.co.jp> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* PS3: gelic: change the prefix of the net interface for wirelessMasakazu Mokuno2008-03-13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The gelic driver uses two net interfaces, one for ethernet and the other for wireless. They share same MAC address and use 'eth' prefix for the name. As udev uses the MAC address to check uniqueness, this is somewhat problematic. So change the prefix of the network interface name for the wireless so that udev can have an easy way to distinguish interfaces. * PS3: gelic: ignore scan info from zero SSID beaconsMasakazu Mokuno2008-03-13
| | | | | | | | | | | | Some implementations of the hidden SSID APs emit beacons which have the zero length SSID information element instead of SSID padded by null (\0) characters. If the firmware of the PS3 wireless hardware meets these beacons, it abandons parsing IEs. Thus guest OSes get the invalid scan information for the AP. To work around this, ignore these scan informations from the list. Signed-off-by: Masakazu Mokuno <mokuno@sm.sony.co.jp> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
