* mlx4_en: Fix cleanup flow on cq activationYevgeny Petrilin2009-04-27
| | | | | | | | In case of mlx4_en_activate_cq() failure, the cleanup code would go to rx_err and try to disable unactivated rings. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: use NETIF_F_IP_CSUM | NETIF_F_IPV6_CSUM for tx csum at initializationYevgeny Petrilin2009-04-21
| | | | | | | | | The former usage was to set the NETIF_F_HW_CSUM flag which is not used in get_tx_csum. It caused Ethtool to show tx checksum as "on" even though it was turned off in previous operation. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Fix a race at restart taskYevgeny Petrilin2009-04-21
| | | | | | | | The query whether the port is up or not should be done at the execution of the restart task and not when it is queued. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* workqueue: add to_delayed_work() helper functionJean Delvare2009-04-02
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It is a fairly common operation to have a pointer to a work and to need a pointer to the delayed work it is contained in. In particular, all delayed works which want to rearm themselves will have to do that. So it would seem fair to offer a helper function for this operation. * netdev: missing validate_address hooksStephen Hemminger2009-01-11
| | | | | | | | Some devices were converted incorrectly and are missing the validate address hooks. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Added "set_ringparam" Ethtool interface implementationYevgeny Petrilin2008-12-29
| | | | | | | | | Now using Ethtool to determine ring sizes, removed the module parameters that controlled those values. Modifying ring size requires restart of the interface. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Removed Interrupt moderation module parametersYevgeny Petrilin2008-12-25
| | | | | | | | They are controlled through Ethtool interface, no need to have two ways to modify them. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4: convert to net_device_opsStephen Hemminger2008-11-21
| | | | | | | Convert driver to new net_device_ops. Compile tested only. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Pause parameters per portYevgeny Petrilin2008-11-15
| | | | | | | | Before the change the driver reported the same pause parameters for all the ports, even only one of them was modified. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Start port error flow bug fixYevgeny Petrilin2008-11-07

* mlx4_en: Add driver for Mellanox ConnectX 10GbE NICYevgeny Petrilin2008-10-22
The Mellanox ConnectX can operate as an InfiniBand adapter, as an Ethernet NIC, or as a Fibre Channel (FC) HBA. The kernel has a low-level driver, mlx4_core, which handles multiplexing access to the device, and there is also already an InfiniBad driver, mlx4_ib. This patch adds a new driver, mlx4_en, which implements a standard Ethernet NIC driver.
