* aoe: revert printk macrosEd L. Cashin2006-10-18
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch addresses the concern that the aoe driver should not introduce unecessary conventions that must be learned by the reader. It reverts patch 6. Signed-off-by: "Ed L. Cashin" <ecashin@coraid.com> Acked-by: Alan Cox <alan@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

* [NET]: Clean up skb_linearizeHerbert Xu2006-06-18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The linearisation operation doesn't need to be super-optimised. So we can replace __skb_linearize with __pskb_pull_tail which does the same thing but is more general. Also, most users of skb_linearize end up testing whether the skb is linear or not so it helps to make skb_linearize do just that. Some callers of skb_linearize also use it to copy cloned data, so it's useful to have a new function skb_linearize_cow to copy the data if it's either non-linear or cloned. Last but not least, I've removed the gfp argument since nobody uses it anymore. If it's ever needed we can easily add it back. * [PATCH] aoe [1/3]: support multiple AoE listenersEd L. Cashin2006-03-24
| | | | | | | | Always clone incoming skbs, allowing other AoE listeners to exist in the kernel. Signed-off-by: "Ed L. Cashin" <ecashin@coraid.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* [NET]: Kill skb->real_devDavid S. Miller2005-08-29
| | | | | | | | | | | Bonding just wants the device before the skb_bond() decapsulation occurs, so simply pass that original device into packet_type->func() as an argument. It remains to be seen whether we can use this same exact thing to get rid of skb->input_dev as well. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
