| * ARM: EXYNOS: Invert VCLK polarity for framebuffer on ORIGENTushar Behera2012-01-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Framebuffer driver needs to fetch the video data during the rising edge of the VCLK. Otherwise, there are some glitches in the LCD display. Signed-off-by: Tushar Behera <tushar.behera@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
| * ARM: S3C64XX: Fix interrupt configuration for PCA935x on CragganmoreMark Brown2012-01-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 0 is a valid IRQ but the interrupt line for the pca935x certainly isn't connected there which causes it to fail to probe. Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
| * ARM: S3C64XX: Fix the memory mapped GPIOs on CragganmoreMark Brown2012-01-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Rather than letting them get allocated dynamically where we don't know where they are, and also name the data line resource as gpio-generic requires that. Without these changes the GPIOs are useless. Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
| * ARM: S3C64XX: Remove hsmmc1 from CragganmoreMark Brown2012-01-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The second MMC slot was only present on revision 1 of Cragganmore so remove it. Only MMC0 and MMC2 are there on production systems. Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

| * ARM: SAMSUNG: Declare struct platform_device in plat/s3c64xx-spi.hMark Brown2012-01-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The function declarations in plat/s3c64xx-spi.h rely on struct platform_device but it's not declared by the header causing compiler warnings if it is included prior to another header which does that. | * | | | | x86: Move <asm/asm-offsets.h> from trace_syscalls.c to asm/syscall.hH. Peter Anvin2012-01-07

This moves the #include <asm/asm-offsets.h> to <asm/syscall.h>, which makes some kind of sense since NR_syscalls is syscalls related. | * | | | | x86, um: Use the same style generated syscall tables as nativeH. Peter Anvin2011-12-05

This requires __NR_syscall_max and NR_syscalls to be generated; on native this is done in asm-headers.h but that file is common to all UML architectures; therefore put it in user-headers.h instead which already have accommodations for architecture-specific values. This is safe since the ABI strings already have to consist only of characters which are valid in C macro names. | * | | | | x86: Generate system call tables and unistd_*.h from tablesH. Peter Anvin2011-11-17

All other information, like NR_syscalls, is auto-generated, some of which is in asm-offsets_*.c. This allows us to keep all the system call information in one place, and allows for kernel space and user space to see different information; this is currently used for the ia32 system call numbers when building the 64-bit kernel, but will be used by the x32 ABI in the near future. This also removes some gratuitious differences between i386, x86-64 and ia32; in particular, now all system call tables are generated with the same mechanism. Cc: H. J. It is not really clear what version of gcc this refers to, but the extra & doesn't cause any harm, so there is no reason to remove it. Signed-off-by: H. Peter Anvin <hpa@linux.intel.com>

| * | | | | | | ARM: Add arm_memblock_steal() to allocate memory away from the kernelRussell King2012-01-13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Several platforms are now using the memblock_alloc+memblock_free+ memblock_remove trick to obtain memory which won't be mapped in the kernel's page tables. Most platforms do this (correctly) in the ->reserve callback. However, OMAP has started to call these functions outside of this callback, and this is extremely unsafe - memory will not be unmapped, and could well be given out after memblock is no longer responsible for its management. So, provide arm_memblock_steal() to perform this function, and ensure that it panic()s if it is used inappropriately. Convert everyone over, including OMAP. As a result, OMAP with OMAP4_ERRATA_I688 enabled will panic on boot with this change. Mark this option as BROKEN and make it depend on BROKEN. OMAP needs to be fixed, or 137d105d50 (ARM: OMAP4: Fix errata i688 with MPU interconnect barriers.) reverted until such time it can be fixed correctly.
