* x86: smp_64.c: remove unused exports and cleanup while at itThomas Gleixner2008-01-30
| | | | | | | | | The exports are nowhere used. There is even no reason why they were ever introduced. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>

* x86: share rtc codeThomas Gleixner2008-01-30
| | | | | | | | | Remove the rtc code from time_64.c and add the extra bits to the i386 path. The ACPI century check is probably valid for i386 as well, but this is material for a separate patch. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
* x86: isolate the rtc code for sharingThomas Gleixner2008-01-30
| | | | | | | | | | The mach-default/mach_time.h code inline is moved to arch/x86/kernel/rtc.c and the header files are adjusted. Shrink the 3 dozen includes to the ones we really need. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
* x86: unify mc146818rtc.h - prepare for sharing rtc codeThomas Gleixner2008-01-30
| | | | | | | | | Unify mc146818rtc.h by adding the rtc_cmos_read/write functions to time_64.c. This is a preparatory patch to finaly share the rtc code, which is unsurprisingly similar. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>

NOTE: it is a known problem of lindent that it causes some style damage of its own, but it's a safe tool (well, except for the gcc array range initializers extension), so we did the bulk of the changes via lindent, and did the manual fixups in a followup patch. the resulting math-emu code has been tested by Thomas Gleixner on a real 386 DX CPU as well, and it works fine.
