| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For full support of power modes, this patch adds implementation external GIC on EXYNOS4. External GIC of Exynos4 cannot support register banking so several interrupt related code for CPU1 should be different from that of CPU0. | * | | ARM: EXYNOS4: set the affinity of mct1 interrupt using IRQ_MCT_L1Changhwan Youn2011-07-20
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | IRQ_MCT_L1 is connected directly to GIC in external GIC mapping, while in internal GIC mapping, it is connected to GIC through interrupt combiner. Therfore the affinity for mct1 event timer interrupt should be changed through IRQ_MCT_L1. Signed-off-by: Changhwan Youn <chaos.youn@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
| * | | ARM: EXYNOS4: modify interrupt mappings for external GICChanghwan Youn2011-07-20
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | To support external GIC needs to update mapping of interrupt number. This patch modifies it for external GIC and accordingly removes the unused code. Signed-off-by: Changhwan Youn <chaos.youn@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>

| | | | * ARM: pm: allow suspend finisher to return error codesRussell King2011-07-02
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are SoCs where attempting to enter a low power state is ignored, and the CPU continues executing instructions with all state preserved. It is over-complex at that point to disable the MMU just to call the resume path. Instead, allow the suspend finisher to return error codes to abort suspend in this circumstance, where the cpu_suspend internals will then unwind the saved state on the stack. Also omit the tlb flush as no changes to the page tables will have happened. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

| | | | * ARM: pm: convert cpu_suspend() to a normal functionRussell King2011-06-24
| |_|_|/ |/| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | cpu_suspend() has a weird calling method which makes it only possible to call from assembly code: it returns with a modified stack pointer to finish the suspend, but on resume, it 'returns' via a provided pointer. We can make cpu_suspend() appear to be a normal function merely by swapping the resume pointer argument and the link register. Do so, and update all callers to take account of this more traditional behaviour. Since most typical ARM processors don't actually support physical hotplug, initialize the present map to be equal to the possible map in generic ARM SMP code. Also, always call platform_smp_prepare_cpus() as long as max_cpus is non-zero (0 means no SMP) to allow platform code to do any SMP setup. After applying this patch it's possible to boot an ARM system with maxcpus=1 on the command line and then hotplug in secondary cpus via sysfs. This is more in line with how x86 does things. | |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes the way of comparison for handling of two or more clock sources for UART. For example, if just only one clock source is defined even though there are two clock sources for UART, the serial driver does not set proper clock up. Of course, it is problem. So this patch changes the condition of comparison to avoid useless setup clock and adds a flag 'NO_NEED_CHECK_CLKSRC' which means selection of source clock is not required. In addition, since the Exynos4210 has only one clock source for UART this patch adds the flag into its common_init_uarts(). | | | |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Rather than having each platform class provide a mach/smp.h header for smp_cross_call(), arrange for them to register the function with the core ARM SMP code instead. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

* / / ARM / Samsung: Use struct syscore_ops for "core" power managementRafael J. Wysocki2011-04-24
|/ / | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Replace sysdev classes and struct sys_device objects used for "core" power management by Samsung platforms with struct syscore_ops objects that are simpler. This generally reduces the code size and the kernel memory footprint. It also is necessary for removing sysdevs entirely from the kernel in the future. Signed-off-by: Rafael J.
