* [MTD] NAND: Café ECC -- remove spurious BUG_ON() in err_pos()David Woodhouse2006-10-27
| | | | | | | | Being a value which isn't in the table is a case we explicitly check for in the caller. Don't BUG_ON() because it does actually happen in practice. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>

* | [MTD] NAND: Combined oob buffer so it's contiguous with dataDavid Woodhouse2006-10-21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ditch the separate oobrbuf and oobwbuf fields from the chip buffers, and use only a single buffer immediately after the data. This accommodates NAND controllers such as the OLPC CAFÉ chip, which can't do scatter/gather DMA so needs the OOB buffer to be contiguous with the data, for both read and write. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit 4596c75c23dde2623cbeec69357d5eb13d28387e as requested by Olaf Hering. It causes compile errors, and says Olaf: "This change is also wrong, the autoloading works perfect with 2.6.18, no need to add random PCI ids. See commit a0245f7ad5214cb00131d7cd176446e067c913dc, platform devices have now a modalias entry in sysfs. The network card is not a PCI device." Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

| | * | | [CRYPTO] api: Select cryptomgr where neededHerbert Xu2006-10-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since cryptomgr is the only way to construct algorithm instances for now it makes sense to let the templates depend on it as otherwise it may be left off inadvertently. | | * | | [CRYPTO] api: fix crypto_alloc_base() return valueAkinobu Mita2006-10-11

But crypto_alloc_base() is supposed to return error code as pointer. So this patch makes it return -ENOMEM in that case. - crypto_alloc_base() is suppose to return -EINTR, if it is interrupted by signal. But it may not return -EINTR. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fix means that bmap will map extents of the length requested by the VFS rather than guessing at it, or just mapping one block at a time. The other callers of gfs2_block_map are audited to ensure they send the correct max extent lengths (i.e. set bh->b_size correctly). Signed-off-by: Steven Whitehouse <swhiteho@redhat.com>
