This removes an open coded simple_open() function and
replaces file operations references to the function
with simple_open() instead.

7000.c was released as GPL only by mistake: it should be
dual licensed - GPL / BSD.
The file that contains the license in the kernel is COPYING
and not LICENSE.GPL.

Newer firmware revisions have a completely new
firmware API. This is the new driver for this
new API.
I've listed the people who directly contributed
code, but many others from various teams have
contributed in other ways.
