There's a large number of various cleanups, and a nice net removal of 13500 lines of code. Highlights worth mentioning are: - A series of patches from Stephen Boyd removing the ARM local timer API. - Move of Qualcomm MSM IOMMU code to drivers/iommu. - Samsung PWM driver cleanups from Tomasz Figa, removing legacy PWM driver and switching over to the drivers/pwm one. - Removal of some unusued auto-generated headers for OMAP2+ (PRM/CM). There's also a move of a header file out of include/linux/i2c/ to platform_data, where it really belongs. It touches mostly ARM platform code for include changes so we took it through our tree" * tag 'cleanup-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (83 commits) ARM: OMAP2+: Add back the define for AM33XX_RST_GLOBAL_WARM_SW_MASK gpio: (gpio-pca953x) move header to linux/platform_data/ arm: zynq: hotplug: Remove unreachable code ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove unnecessary exynos4_default_sdhci*() tegra: simplify use of devm_ioremap_resource ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove plat/regs-timer.h header ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove remaining uses of plat/regs-timer.h header ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove pwm-clock infrastructure ARM: SAMSUNG: Remove old PWM timer platform devices pwm: Remove superseded pwm-samsung-legacy driver ARM: SAMSUNG: Modify board files to use new PWM platform device ARM: SAMSUNG: Rework private data handling in dev-backlight pwm: Add new pwm-samsung driver ARM: mach-mvebu: remove redundant DT parsing and validation ARM: msm: Only compile io.c on platforms that use it iommu/msm: Move mach includes to iommu directory ARM: msm: Remove devices-iommu.c ARM: msm: Move mach/board.h contents to common.h ARM: msm: Migrate msm_timer to CLOCKSOURCE_OF_DECLARE ARM: msm: Remove TMR and TMR0 static mappings ...
| * ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: remove r8a7778_init_irq()Kuninori Morimoto2013-07-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch removes r8a7778_init_irq(), since no-one is using it. And now, there is no reason to have r8a7778_init_irq_common(). r8a7778_init_irq_dt() includes it. | * ARM: shmobile: Remove unused r8a7778 auxdata and callbackMagnus Damm2013-07-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Replace the SoC-specific callback init_machine() with a NULL to use the default code. This cleans up the code and reduces the number of lines. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au>

|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | Add VIN clocks and platform devices on R8A7778 SoC; add function to register the VIN platform devices. [Sergei: added 'id' parameter check to r8a7778_add_vin_device(), used '*pdata' in *sizeof* operator, and added an empty line there; renamed some variables, annotated 'vin[01]_info' and vin[01]_resources[] as '__initdata'.] Signed-off-by: Vladimir Barinov <vladimir.barinov@cogentembedded.com> Signed-off-by: Sergei Shtylyov <sergei.shtylyov@cogentembedded.com> Acked-by: Simon Horman <horms+renesas@verge.net.au> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>

| * ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: fix Ether device nameSergei Shtylyov2013-06-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | While recasting commit 524219146a89aee5366326c225ccd71231419d89 (ARM: shmobile: R8A7778: add Ether support), I made a typo in the platform device's name: used underscore instead of hyphen. However, there's now patch merged to net-next.git renaming the platform device from "sh-eth" to "r8a777x-ehter", so it makes the most sense to change the name straight to that one. * | ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: add USB supportSergei Shtylyov2013-06-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add USB clock and EHCI, OHCI, and USB PHY platform devices for R8A7778 SoC; add a function to register PHY device with board-specific platform data and register EHCI and OHCI platfrom devices from the init_late() board method. Also, don't forget to enable CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_[EO]HCI options for R8A7778 SoC in Kconfig... The patch has been tested on the BOCK-W board. * | Merge branches 'heads/pinmux' and 'heads/soc' into phy-rcar-usb-baseSimon Horman2013-06-11
|\| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This branch acts as a base for adding USB support to r8A7778/BOCK-W and r8A7779/Marzen. It includes the soc branch to provide dependencies in the r8A7778 clock code. It includes pinmux to provide pinmux initialisation for Bock-W which is a dependency. * ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: add r8a7778_init_irq_extpin()Kuninori Morimoto2013-04-04
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds r8a7778_init_irq_extpin() for IRQ0 - IRQ3. But this patch doesn't enable DT settings on r8a7778.dts, because R8A7778 chip external IRQ depends on IRQ0 - IRQ3 pin encoding which came from platform board implementation. * ARM: shmobile: add R8A7778 basis supportKuninori Morimoto2013-04-01
Add initial support for the R8A7778 R-Car M1A SoC. No static virtual mappings are used, all the components make use of ioremap(). DT_MACHINE_START is still wrapped in CONFIG_USE_OF to match other mach-shmobile code.
