Second UART doesn't have modem interface, so any attempt to use set_mctrl() it
produce unwanted garbage on the line. There's no such 0x100 register offset
for the second UART either.

These patches fix a number of issues with the PCI controller
code for mach-versatile:
(1) The irq mapping matched neither hardware nor QEMU; we correct
it to match the hardware, which means it will also work on recent
(1.5 or later) QEMU.
(2) The code was confused between the PCI I/O window (at 0x43000000)
and the first PCI memory window (at 0x44000000), which meant that
PCI devices using PCI PIO rather than MMIO didn't work. This is
fixed (and some variables/labels are renamed to avoid further
confusion in future).
(3) The SMAP register offsets were all off-by-four, though by
fluke this didn't actually have any ill effects.
All these changes have been tested on real hardware (PB926
plus the PCI backplane), as well as on QEMU. I have confirmed
that IRQs and PCI PIO and MMIO work OK.
PCI bus-master DMA doesn't seem to work on h/w -- as far as I can
tell the device is correctly managing to DMA to the right places
in memory, but every other 32 bit word is corrupt (at least judging
from rtl8139 debug dumps of the frames it's receiving). I'm not
sure what's going on here, but since this is disjoint from
the irq and I/O issues I don't think that applying the
patches that fix those should be stalled on trying to debug
DMA problems. (DMA works fine on QEMU, incidentally.)

The SMAP register offsets in the versatile PCI controller code were
all off by four. (This didn't have any observable bad effects
because on this board PHYS_OFFSET is zero, and (a) writing zero to
the flags register at offset 0x10 has no effect and (b) the reset
value of the SMAP register is zero anyway, so failing to write SMAP2
didn't matter.)

The versatile PCI controller code was confused between the
PCI I/O window (at 0x43000000) and the first PCI memory
window (at 0x44000000). Pass the correct base address to
pci_remap_io() so that PCI I/O accesses work.
Since the first PCI memory window isn't used at all (it's
an odd size), rename the associated variables and labels
so that it's clear that it isn't related to the I/O window.
This has been tested and confirmed to fix PCI I/O accesses
both on physical PB926+PCI backplane hardware and on QEMU.

The PCI controller code for the Versatile board has never had the
correct IRQ mapping for hardware. For many years it had an odd
mapping ("all interrupts are int 27") which aligned with the
equivalent bug in QEMU. However as of commit 1bc39ac5dab265
the mapping changed and no longer matched either hardware or QEMU,
with the result that any PCI card beyond the first in QEMU would
not have functioning interrupts; for example a boot with a SCSI
controller would time out as follows:

Fix the mapping so that it matches real hardware (checked against the
schematics for PB926 and backplane, and tested against the hardware).
This allows PCI cards using interrupts to work on hardware for the
first time; this change will also work with QEMU 1.5 or later, where
the equivalent bugs in the modelling of the hardware have been fixed.
Although QEMU will attempt to autodetect whether the kernel is
expecting the long-standing "everything is int 27" mapping or the one
hardware has, for certainty we force it into "definitely behave like
hardware mode"; this will avoid unexpected surprises later if we
implement sparse irqs. This is harmless on hardware.

and prodding me into relocating the hardware and retesting everything.

As of 8d3214c ("sh_eth: remove 'register_type' field from 'struct
sh_eth_plat_data'") is is no longer necessary or correct to use the
'register_type' field from 'struct sh_eth_plat_data' and doing so results
in a build error.

a894fcc2d01a89e6fe3da0845a4d80a5312e1124 ("ARM: smp_twd: Divorce smp_twd
from local timer API") altered twd_local_timer_common_register() so that it
may make use of late_timer_init.
This is problematic on marzen with Magnus's recent patch "ARM: shmobile:
marzen: Switch to DT_MACHINE_START" which switches marzen around to enable
USE_OF and thus shmobile_timer_init(), which is registered as
late_time_init by shmobile_earlytimer_init() stops being a no-op.
As a work-around I have updated r8a7779_earlytimer_init() so that
shmobile_earlytimer_init() is called after r8a7779_register_twd().
Or in other words, the shmobile_earlytimer_init() setting of
late_time_init overwrites that of twd_local_timer_common_register().

"Just two fixes here - one for the recent addition of Neon stuff which
causes problems when this is built as a module. The other was one
spotted by Olof with the fixed-HZ stuff.
Last patch (which is at the very top) is not a fix per-se, but an
almost-end-of-merge window sorting of the select symbols in
arch/arm/Kconfig to keep them as akpm would like to reduce unnecessary
conflicts. I've also taken the liberty this time to add a comment at
the end to discourage the endless "add the next select to the bottom

Keep arch/arm/Kconfig select statements sorted alphabetically. I've
added a comment at the bottom of the main bank for CONFIG_ARM to this
effect so hopefully this will keep things more in order.

Commit 0195659 introduced a NEON accelerated version of the xor_blocks()
function, but it needs the changes in this patch to allow it to be built
as a module rather than statically into the kernel.
This patch creates a separate module xor-neon.ko which exports the NEON
inner xor_blocks() functions depended upon by the regular xor.ko if it
is built with CONFIG_KERNEL_MODE_NEON=y

This avoids the spinlocks and refcounts in the d_path() sequence too
(used by /proc and various other entities). See commit 8b19e34188a3 for
the equivalent getcwd() system call path.
And unlike getcwd(), d_path() doesn't copy the result to user space, so
I don't need to fear _that_ particular bug happening again.

It's a pathname. It should use the pathname allocators and
deallocators, and PATH_MAX instead of PAGE_SIZE. Never mind that the
two are commonly the same.
With this, the allocations scale up nicely too, and I can do getcwd()
system calls at a rate of about 300M/s, with no lock contention
anywhere.
Of course, nobody sane does that, especially since getcwd() is
traditionally a very slow operation in Unix. But this was also the
simplest way to benchmark the prepend_path() improvements by Waiman, and
once I saw the profiles I couldn't leave it well enough alone.
But apart from being an performance improvement (from using per-cpu slab
allocators instead of the raw page allocator), it's actually a valid and
real cleanup.

Oops. That wasn't very smart. We don't actually need the RCU lock any
more by the time we copy the cwd string to user space, but I had
stupidly surrounded the whole thing with it.

The wm831x-status driver was not converted to use a REG resource when they
were introduced and the rest of the wm831x drivers converted, causing it
to fail to probe due to requesting the wrong resource type.

notification callback
fb_notifier_callback is called on any event fired by
fb_notifier_call_chain. Events may, or may not contain some data
(fb_event.data). In case of FB_EVENT_BLANK fb_event.data contains a
pointer to an integer holdingthe blank state. The Problem is, that in
ledtrig-backlight.c - fb_notifier_callback the pointer to blank state
is dereferenced BEFORE the event-type is checked.
Obviously this leads to problems with other events than FB_EVENT_BLANK,
where fb_event.data is undefined or NULL. It seems, that this problem
existed ever since the driver was added.
Like in drivers/video/backlight/backlight.c line 43 I would suggest to
return immediately on events other than FB_EVENT_BLANK.

A malformed device tree could lead into a segmentation fault if the reg
value of a led is bigger than the number of leds.
A valid device tree could have only information about the last led of the
chip. Fix the device tree parsing to handle those cases.

To update an LED a register has to be read, updated and writen. If
another LED whas been updated at the same time, this could lead into
wrong updates.
This patch adds a common mutex to all the leds of the same chip to
protect the ledout register.

If there is more than one pca963x chips on the system and there are
some LEDs without platform_data names, the driver wont be able to
provide unique naming to them.
This will cause led_class_dev_register to fail, unregistering all the
LEDs of the chip.
This patch adds the i2c address to the name of the unnamed LEDs, making
them unique.

(leds-lp5523: use generic firmware interface) causes an application conflict.
This interface should be maintained for compatibility.
Restored device attributes are 'engineN_mode', 'engineN_load' and
'engineN_leds'. (N = 1, 2 or 3)
A 'selftest' attribute macro is replaced with LP55xx common macro.
Those are accessed when a LED pattern is run by an application.
Use a mutex in lp5523_update_program_memory()
: This function is called when an user-application writes a 'engineN_load' file
or pattern data is loaded from generic firmware interface.
So, writing program memory should be protected.
If an error occurs on accessing this area, just it returns as -EINVAL quickly.
This error code is exact same as old driver function, lp5523_do_store_load()
because it should be kept for an user-application compatibility.
Even the driver is changed, we can use the application without re-compiling
sources.

LED MUX start and stop address should be updated in the program memory
on LP5523 initialization.
LED pattern doesn't work without additional MUX address configuration.
This handling is done by new function, lp5523_init_program_engine().
Eventually, it's called during device initialization, lp5523_post_init_device().
This is a conflict after git commit 632418bf65503405df3f9a6a1616f5a95f91db85
(leds-lp5523: clean up lp5523_configure()).
So it should be fixed.

lp5523_load_engine()
It is called whenever the operation mode is changed to 'load'.
It is used for simple operation mode change.
It will be used when engine mode and LED selection is updated in later patch.
lp5523_load_engine_and_select_page()
Change the operation mode to 'load' and select program page number.
This is used for programming a LED pattern at a time.
So load_engine() is replaced with new API, load_engine_and_select_page()
in lp5523_firmware_loaded().

LP55xx family devices have internal three program engines which are used for
loading LED patterns. To maintain legacy device attributes, specific data
structure is used, 'mode' and 'led_mux'. The mode is used for showing/storing
current engine mode such like disabled, load and run. Then led_mux is used for
showing/storing current output LED selection.
This is only for LP5523/55231.

With the DT conversion, the board Kconfig symbols MACH_ are going to be
removed. In order to prepare this removal, this patch replaces alls the
machines dependencies for leds-netxbig by ARCH_KIRKWOOD.
